Alpaytac has been instrumental in various fundraising efforts for this children’s shelter outside of Chicago, collecting hundreds of dollars on its behalf. In addition, beginning this summer, Alpaytac employees will spend afternoons at the shelter mentoring the residents and serving as positive role models. 

Alpaytac has coordinated public relations efforts for chapter events such as the How We Did It: Successful Black Businesswomen Share Their Stories panel, the Wellness of Body & Mind event and the NAWBO Achievement Luncheon. 

Alpaytac partners with the shelter to help fight homelessness by publicizing the organization’s annual Metamorphosis Party. Alpaytac also recently hosted a two-hour-long Employment Seminar and Training Session for residents of the shelter, providing job hunting tips, interviewing techniques and resume building strategies as well as one-one-one coaching sessions.
